Here is a super simple all purpose cleaner for you!
This is my go-to cleaning formula because it’s so simple to make, and safe for my little guys to use when they help Momma. I actually use this cleaner in the bathroom while my boys take a bath. I clean the sink and toilet while they splish-splash around! No worries about toxic fumes here! I also use it in the kitchen and dining room, and my kids have even sprayed it on the painted wall when I wasn’t paying close attention, lol. Luckily though, the paint was fine!
If something seems stuck on the counter I just spray it and let it sit for a few minutes. So much less scrubbing is needed when I do this! Plus it leaves a good (non-toxic) scent! My husband gave me the funniest look when I told him it smells like orange soda! So either I have a false memory of what orange soda smells like, OR I’m totally crazy! You can be the judge on that one!
For this recipe you will need:
- White vinegar
- Water
- Orange Essential Oil
- Glass spray bottle
White vinegar is cheap and easy to find just about anywhere. For cleaning and laundry, I just buy the cheapest store brand option available. For food, I make sure to get organic!
For the essential oils, make sure you research the company before purchasing. Personally, I buy my oils from Rocky Mountain Oils. I would like to make a post about why I chose them for my essential oils soon!
It’s important to use glass containers, since these oils have the ability to leach chemicals from plastic. These bottles can be purchased on Amazon or in some health food stores.
Instructions:
Mix equal amounts white vinegar and water in a glass spray bottle.
Add some oils and give it a good shake.
