A simple spice mix that can be made in bulk to make taco night even easier. No more seasoning packets needed!
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and store in an airtight container.
3 Tbsp is equal to 1 mild taco seasoning packet.
Cook ground beef, breaking up while cooking. Add 3 Tbsp seasoning and 1/4 cup water or bone broth per pound of meat cooked. Simmer for a couple minutes until most of the water has cooked out.
This recipe makes enough for about 4.5 pounds of meat. It can also be doubled/tripled/quadrupled. I usually make a double batch of taco seasoning and it lasts me about 1 months worth of taco Tuesday's, plus leftover taco Wednesday's ;)
Side note: To save time in the kitchen, make double dinners and have leftovers for lunch the next day ;)
