The Perfect Ranch Dressing

This is the creamy restaurant style ranch dressing of my youth!

  • ¾ cup Mayo homemade or store-bought
  • ½ cup Raw sour cream can use pasteurized
  • ½ cup Raw homemade yogurt substitute buttermilk or milk kefir (pasteurized/store-bought)
  • 2 tsp White vinegar optional
  • 1 clove Minced garlic 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh minced green onions 1 tsp dried
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley 1 tsp dried
  • ½ Tbsp. fresh dill ½ tsp dried
  • ¼ to ½ tsp salt use less if using store-bought mayo, use more if its homemade
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp maple syrup could use any sweetener. Honey, sugar, stevia or it can be omitted
  • Cayenne pepper to taste I use a super tiny pinch but feel free to use more if you like spice


  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Can be served immediately but is best if its refrigerated for at least a few hours.
