Chocolate Covered Bananas

  • 6 Bananas
  • 3/4 cup Chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp Peanut butter optional
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil optional


  1. Cut bananas in half and insert popsicle sticks

  2. Place bananas on parchment paper and freeze for at least an hour. Sometimes I freeze them overnight

  3. Melt chocolate chips, coconut oil and peanut butter in a double boiler or in a glass bowl over boiling water
  4. Dip frozen bananas in melted chocolate mixture
  5. Put chocolate dipped bananas back on the parchment paper lined tray and return to the freezer.

Recipe Notes

These measurements are estimated. If you have any leftover chocolate, just put it on a plate and refrigerate until solid for a nice little peanut butter chocolate bar with a bit of a banana flavor. :P
